You can pay your water utility bill different ways.
We offer an Affordability Assistance Program for certain qualifying customers.
We also offer electronic notifications in addition to hard copies of your statement.  You can opt-in by registering your email address with our Customer Service team at City Hall Annex.

You can securely pay using a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express debit and/or credit card at the City of Laredo’s Click2gov site (except between 3:00am and 4:00am), and access account information.  A $2.75 convenience fee will be added when using this service (The Ordinance shall become effective as soon as the utility software is updated but not before January 2, 2023). Note that payments are posted the following business day.

Pay your water bill over the phone by calling 956-721-2032.  (We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.) A $2.75 convenience fee will be added when using this service (The Ordinance shall become effective as soon as the utility software is updated but not before January 2, 2023).  Remember to have your account number ready.  For other inquiries, call our customer service team at 956-727-6402.

The Drive-Thru Service is located on the north side of City Hall Annex at 1102 Bob Bullock Loop. Drive-thru will remain open for all payments such as taxes, utilities, alarm permits, paving, force cleaning, beer and wine, hotel/motel, water contracts, hazmat, and demolition.

Mail Payments to City of Laredo, P. O. Box 6548, Laredo, Texas 78042. (Checks or Money Orders only). Please include your account number(s) on all checks and correspondence. Please allow 7 busines days from delivery to post office for mail in payments to be processed and posted to your account. Please do not send cash.

The City of Laredo Utilities Department also offers automatic bank draft, an electronic funds transfer payment service which allows the automatic debit of your monthly utility bill from your bank account. This service is offered free of charge. The debit occurs on the due date of your bill each month. You will still receive a monthly bill for your review.  Click here to sign up.

Pay at a Kiosk

The kiosks only accept utility bills; the account number is required to make payments. Payments made by credit/debit cards, checks, and cash can be done here 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A $2.75 convenience fee will be added when using a credit/debit card. For cash transactions, only bills are accepted (kiosks do not give change). Any overpayment will be credited to the account and applied to the next bill.

– Municipal Court — 4610 Maher Ave., located near the main entrance of the building.
